On Wednesday, the Emirates International University held a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "With Gaza... Yemen of Faith in Jihad, Steadfastness, and Mobilization." The stand was held in defiance of the criminal Zionist aggression and continued support for the Palestinian people.
Participants in the stand, led by the University's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, a number of college deans, academic and administrative staff, and a crowd of students, raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and pictures of the martyr of the nation and humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the martyr of the resistance, Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din. They declared continued mobilization, steadfastness, and enhanced readiness to confront the terrorist Zionist enemy and respond to its crimes in Yemen and Palestine.
They renewed their support and absolute mandate for the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and affirmed their readiness for all options and continued support for and solidarity with our brothers in Gaza and Palestine, regardless of the sacrifices.
The UAE University members praised the escalating qualitative military operations of the armed forces, which penetrated the most advanced defense systems of the Israeli enemy and successfully achieved their objectives.
They emphasized that the crimes of the Zionist aggression against civilians and the targeting of residential neighborhoods and civilian objects will only strengthen the Yemeni people, strengthen their steadfastness, and strengthen their determination to confront them and achieve victory for Gaza and the oppressed Palestinian people, regardless of the cost and sacrifices.
They renewed their pledge and affirmation to continue on the path of the glorious September 21 Revolution of Freedom and Independence, to confront the tyrants and arrogant Americans and criminal Zionists, and their hypocritical followers and supporters, and to support the oppressed among the nation's sons.
A statement issued after the vigil, read by Dr. Khaled Daifallah, explained that in response to God Almighty, and in jihad for His sake and seeking His pleasure, we continue our weekly million-man marches in support of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people and in loyalty to their dear mujahideen.
He reiterated his commitment to "continuing our commitment to God Almighty and His Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, through the path of jihad in the cause of God, patience, and the sacrifice of lives and wealth, as well as our commitment to the path of the blessed September 21st Revolution, the path of freedom and independence. All of these things require us to confront the tyrants, the arrogant, and the oppressors among the Americans, the Zionists, and their hypocritical supporters. They require us to continue supporting the oppressed among our nation and defending ourselves, and not to retreat from that, no matter the sacrifice, which will inevitably be far less than the cost of surrender and submission. Reality proves this. To God belong all matters, and the outcome is for the righteous." The statement added, "As an Arab Muslim Yemeni people, we wonder, after a deluge of speeches by world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, including statements by Arab and Islamic countries, most of which condemned the enemy's crimes and acknowledged the terrible injustice suffered by the Palestinian people in Gaza. We regretfully say, 'Why do we not see any practical actions and positions to stop this?' Indeed, it is strange that most of these countries—including those that claim to support and embrace the two-state solution—continue to send weapons to the Zionist enemy, in a clear contradiction between words and actions!!"
It continued, "What is the level of criminality and massacres required for you to act, leave the confines of lies and deception, and embark on practical steps to stop these crimes, which you have come to acknowledge?"
The statement of the million-man march praised the continued Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the effective strikes carried out by the armed forces against the Zionist enemy, considering them real, practical, and effective steps to stop the aggression on Gaza. However, verbal positions do not feed the hungry, provide medicine for the sick and wounded, or protect children from deadly bombs.
He added: "As we commemorate the martyrdom of Islam and humanity, the symbol of jihad, honesty, and steadfastness, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his comrade-in-arms, the martyr Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, may God be pleased with them both, we recall how Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was a solid wall and a strong fortress for this nation, and the negative consequences the nation suffered after his passing, along with his great comrades, whose sacrifices and service to their nation were evident to every great free person. We pledge to them that we will continue on the path until the promised conquest, clear victory, and the demise of the temporary entity, soon, God willing."
