The United Arab Emirates University Organizes a Cultural Symposium on the Role of the September 21 Revolution in Confronting the Enemies of the Nation

In an effort to enhance national awareness and consolidate the values embodied by the glorious September 21 Revolution, the Emirates International University, in cooperation with the University Student Forum, organized a cultural symposium on Tuesday entitled "The Role of the September 21 Revolution in Confronting the Enemies of the Nation," under the slogan "Freedom and Independence."
The symposium was widely attended, led by the University President, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah; the Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani; and the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; along with a number of college deans, members of the academic and administrative staff; and a large crowd of students who engaged with the symposium and its patriotic content.
During the symposium, cultural activist Zakaria Mohammed delivered a lecture in which he reviewed the features of the period preceding the revolution and the precursors that paved the way for its launch, highlighting how the revolution marked a turning point in contemporary Yemeni history.
The lecturer touched on the most prominent advantages of the September 21 Revolution, foremost among them liberation from foreign tutelage, the achievement of national sovereignty, and the restoration of the faith-based identity of the Yemeni people. Thanks to their revolution and leadership, the Yemeni people were able to adopt positions supportive of the nation's causes, leading to direct confrontation with the Zionist entity and striking at its core in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, a stance he described as historic and unique.
The symposium emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the revolution's journey and continuing efforts to confront the challenges targeting the homeland and the nation. This will enhance university youth's awareness of their pioneering role in shaping the future.
