On Wednesday, September 16, 2025, the College of Dentistry at the Emirates International University organized a special ceremony. The ceremony combined honoring the top students for the academic year 1446 AH (2024-2025) and welcoming new students for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026) in a festive atmosphere that reflected a spirit of excellence and promising beginnings.
During the ceremony, Professor Khaled Ahmed Salah, President of the University, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the top students on their excellence, which represents the fruit of hard work and diligence. He emphasized that the University is proud of their academic achievements. He also welcomed the new students, urging them to invest their university years in building the knowledge and skills that will qualify them to become outstanding dentists who contribute to serving the community.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Secretary-General of the University, and Dr. Ibrahim Al Shami, Dean of the College, along with academic and administrative staff and a crowd of students.
The event concluded with honoring the top students and taking commemorative photos, amidst an atmosphere filled with pride and motivation. This was a clear message from the University: supporting excellence and celebrating new beginnings.
Comprehensive training bags containing essential practical tools and materials were also distributed to first-year students, reflecting the University's commitment to preparing its students from day one with expertise and equipment that contribute to building their academic and practical skills.
