In loyalty to the martyrs of Yemen and Palestine and in steadfastness in their jihadist stance in support of Gaza, the Emirates International University today hosted a massive march by university members, including academic and administrative staff and students. They affirmed their commitment to continuing to support the Palestinian people and confront Zionist aggression in the region.
During the massive march, led by the university's Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, deans of colleges, heads of academic departments, and a large crowd of students, and under the slogan "Loyalty to the Martyrs... We Will Not Back Down in Supporting Gaza, No Matter the Sacrifices," university members declared their readiness to confront Zionist criminality and the enemy's violations of the countries and peoples of the region, an extension of the genocide, starvation, and atrocities it has been committing against two million people in the Gaza Strip for nearly two years, with American and Western support and backing.
The participants declared their defiance of the Zionist entity and their readiness to thwart its malicious conspiracies and expansionist projects at the expense of the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations. They renewed their call to all members of the nation—leaders, armies, and governments—to close ranks and take serious and practical positions to deter the escalating Zionist aggression and criminality.
The Secretary-General of the League, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, delivered a speech during the march, expressing the continuation of the atmosphere of the Muhammadan Spring and the Yemeni people's adherence to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), emulating his jihadist approach in confronting tyrants and the arrogant and defending the oppressed and vulnerable among the nation's people.
He pointed out that this march comes in loyalty to the righteous martyrs from across the nation, foremost among them the martyrs from Gaza. He expressed the university members' pride in the revolutionary and political leadership leading the battle for the promised conquest and the holy jihad against the Zionist enemy, in an honorable stance unique to Yemen and its leadership amidst shameful Arab, Islamic, and international silence. He saluted the heroes of the missile forces and drones who are inflicting painful blows on the Zionist enemy.
A statement issued by the march, delivered by Dr. Khaled Daif Allah, explained that in response to God Almighty, and in jihad for His sake and seeking His pleasure, and in response to His Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and in response to the call of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may God protect him), we have marched today in million-man marches in support of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people, in solidarity with all those targeted among our Islamic nation, and as an expression of our steadfastness in confronting the Israeli enemy, regardless of its crimes and attacks.
He emphasized that "the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people, whether officials or citizens, are for God and in His cause, in response to Him, to draw closer to Him, and in obedience to Him in the most honorable and greatest battle that God Almighty has enabled them to fight: in support of Gaza, which is the most clearly grievanced in this era, and in defense of one of the greatest sanctities of Islam, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in the face of the most tyrannical tyrants of the world and the most heinous criminals, the Zionist Jews. This is within the framework of religious duty, which whoever shirks it is shirking their religion, and within the framework of necessity and defense of oneself, one's country, and one's nation, which whoever shirks it is accepting enslavement, violation, and humiliation at the hands of the Zionist criminals." The statement addressed the people of Gaza, saying, "We know the bitterness of the betrayal you are subjected to by your own people, along with the horrific crimes committed against you by your enemy. But be patient, for God does not waste the reward of the patient. We are with you and will not abandon you, God willing, no matter the sacrifices. We realize that the price of great positions is pure blood, but its consequence is the promised victory and clear conquest in this world and the hereafter. The consequence of negligence is humiliation and disgrace in this world and the hereafter. History bears witness, and the future will prove this. Those who lie in wait and those in whose hearts disease are will regret it." He continued, "While we are still in the month of the spring of light and prophecy, and in the atmosphere of a true return to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and at a time when his nation is experiencing an unprecedented state of persecution, fragmentation, and disunity, and out of loyalty to his religion and his approach, we declare our adherence to his struggle, patience, and sacrifices, and to the unifying title by which he named us, Islam. From this standpoint, we reject the reality of division and fragmentation imposed on the nation by the enemies. We consider ourselves one nation and one body, with clear enemies identified by the Holy Quran: the Jews and Christians."
The statement considered any aggression or persecution in any inch of our nation's countries to be targeting and persecuting everyone, and any martyr who falls in any country is a martyr for everyone.
The statement declared solidarity with the brothers, the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, who were treacherously targeted by Zionist treachery in Qatar, as well as with our brothers in Qatar. It also expressed its rejection of the Zionist violation of their rights and the sovereignty of their country, and its commitment to standing up against this violation with all its might, relying on God Almighty and trusting in Him.
The statement praised the escalation of military operations by the armed forces, which have recently increased in intensity and momentum deep within the enemy's territory. It called on them to exert further efforts in development and advancement to achieve greater impact and effectiveness in deterring the Zionists, just as God had previously enabled them to deter the American and British enemies at sea, inflicting the most severe defeat in the history of naval warfare. They fled, leaving the sea free for its people and free from the filth of the Zionist ships and their supporters.
He added, "There is no doubt that the battle is great, the distance is long, and the capabilities are difficult. However, with our trust in God, our reliance and reliance on Him, and our efforts both practical and psychological, God will enable us to achieve miracles and defeat tyrants. This is what we have experienced during our years of struggle and patience. Victory comes only from God."
