The Department of International Business Administration, Arabic Section, at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the university, organized a study visit for third-year students today, Sunday, to the Yemeni Light Food Manufacturing Company (Al-Aqil Factory). The visit was supervised by Dr. Safaa Al-Hanbasi, the course instructor, and accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Al-Kumaim, the academic coordinator, and Ms. Safaa Al-Bahloli, a teaching assistant at the college. The visit aimed to link the theoretical and practical aspects of the cost accounting course.

They were received by Ms. Samia Al-Tuwaiti, the security and safety officer, who addressed occupational safety and security standards. They were then received by Ms. Afnan Al-Asadi, the marketing and sales officer, to learn about the production factors of three products. The supervisors, Mr. Issam Al-Samawi and Mr. Salwa Zamam explained the factory's workflow, starting with the supply of raw materials (flour, starch, corn, and potatoes), and the methods of storing them in warehouses until they enter the production process. She explained the factory's adherence to quality standards, specifications, and measures, moving on to the production and service centers, the packaging stage, and finally the final product form in the finished product inventory and the ready-to-sell production inventory.

The students also learned about the factory's production centers and service centers, manufacturing costs, marketing costs, financial and administrative costs, both direct and indirect (variable and fixed), and the factory's occupational safety procedures.

Both the professor and the university students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the factory management for providing them with the opportunity to learn about the various production processes in the factory.
