On Wednesday, Safar 19, 1446 AH (August 13, 2025 AD), affiliates of the Emirates International University organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "We remain steadfast with Gaza... and our readiness is high to confront all enemy conspiracies."
Participants in the stand raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans denouncing the Arab and Islamic abandonment of Gaza.
The participants declared their readiness to confront and thwart the enemy's plots and tools targeting the peoples of the nation, reiterating their condemnation of the massacres and systematic starvation to which the people of Gaza have been subjected for 22 months by the criminal Zionist enemy and its American partner.
A statement issued by the vigil reiterated its commitment to the comprehensive, clear, firm, and escalating position in support of our brothers in Gaza and all of Palestine and their faithful, courageous, and steadfast resistance.
The statement called on all Muslims to support them with money, weapons, and everything that strengthens their steadfastness. This is because this is the sound and wise choice, what God commands, what reason and logic dictate, what reality demands, and what bears witness to its correctness and effectiveness, while simultaneously demonstrating the failure of other options.
The statement clarified that the Zionist-American enemy's mobilization of its agents from within and outside the Ummah against the resistance in Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon, using local and regional means to pressure the disarmament of the resistance and covering this up with self-interest. Likewise, their intention to mobilize the tools of treason and collaboration in our countries in the same manner, is nothing but a part of the Zionist-American aggression against the Ummah, and a chapter of its chapters, executed through its various tools and deceptive pretexts. This must be met with all forms of rejection, especially popular rejection, because the people are the ones who ultimately pay the highest price if they do not act to confront the dangers.
He pointed out that this alternative plan reveals the enemy's failure in direct confrontation on various fronts and its compulsion to resort to other plans and options, but these will fail, God willing.
The statement declared the readiness of the people of Taiz Governorate to confront any plans or conspiracies hatched by the enemy, and that they will continue their support for Gaza, relying on God. He emphasized that their honorable stance has disturbed the enemy, and that they will not remain silent about it, nor will they cease their efforts at all times and by all means to stop the Yemeni people and deprive them of the honor of this stance.
He considered the nation's negligence and complacency in the face of the series of attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, which are expanding and increasing in an attempt to tame the nation into accepting them, to be the key to evil, encouraging the enemy to act more recklessly to implement the plan of what he calls "Greater Israel," including control over Mecca and Medina. He is confident that those who have not acted for Al-Aqsa Mosque will not act for Mecca or Medina.
The statement emphasized that those who were not provoked by the massacres in Gaza will not be provoked by the massacres in other Arab and Islamic cities and countries, calling for action for the sake of Al-Aqsa Mosque and raising their voices loudly to protect it and all the nation's holy sites.
