On Wednesday, Safar 11, 1446 AH (August 5, 2025 AD), the Emirates International University organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "Steady with Gaza and Palestine... and Rejecting Deceptive and Treacherous Deals."
The stand was led by Dr. Khaled Salah, President of the University; Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University; deans of colleges; academic and administrative staff; and a large crowd of students.
Participants in the stand affirmed their continued support for Gaza, regardless of the repercussions and sacrifices, and their readiness to wage the battle of "the promised conquest... and the holy jihad" in support of the Palestinian people.
Participants commended the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist enemy, renewing their mandate to Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to take whatever options he deems appropriate to support the oppressed in Palestine.
A statement issued by the vigil emphasized that in the face of the US- and Western-backed Zionist crimes in Gaza, which have reached levels unparalleled in human history—especially the deaths of people from starvation—the world remains facing a difficult test in its humanity, and the Islamic nation in the integrity of its humanity and Islam. As for the Arab nation, its test is more difficult in its humanity, Islam, and Arab brotherhood.
The statement reiterated the Yemeni people's adherence to their advanced position, both officially and popularly, militarily and civilian-wise, and they will not back down from it. They will not accept being listed as a coward or a scumbag, but rather a position of faith, humanity, and brotherhood that we will record before God and His creation.
The Armed Forces' announcement blessed the decision to activate the fourth phase, which expresses a portion of the pain and oppression gripping our hearts. It called on the Mujahideen of the Armed Forces to implement it against any company affiliated with any inhumane state that deals with the most heinous and ugliest criminals of this age.
It warned anyone who dares to use the tools of treason, addicted to humiliation and degradation, to incite chaos and sedition to weaken the Yemeni people's position in confronting the American-Israeli enemy and supporting the Palestinian people. It considered this an attempt to target and undermine the greatest, most honorable, and purest stance of the Yemeni people toward Gaza, Palestine, and Al-Aqsa.
The statement noted that the Yemeni people, for their support of the Palestinian people, have offered convoys of martyrs, endured great pain and suffering, and faced numerous alliances and armies. They are prepared for greater things. Anyone who thinks they can target this glory and pride and return us to the square of submission, humiliation, cowardice, betrayal, and subservience to the enemy is only slaughtering themselves and destroying themselves by our own hands in this world and throwing them into the lowest depths of Hell in the afterlife. The statement declared that the Yemeni people and their armed forces are at the highest level of readiness to confront any conspiracy, aggression, or betrayal. It called on everyone, both official and popular, to maintain high vigilance, mobilize, move, and seek help from God.
