The Executive Council of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the University held its first meeting of the academic year 1447 AH, chaired by the University President.

The Executive Council of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the Emirates International University held its first meeting of the academic year 1447 AH, chaired by the University President, Dr. Khaled Salah. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al Hamdi; the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs and Secretary-General of the Center, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; the heads of the Center's internal units; and quality officials from the colleges.

 

During the meeting, the Council discussed several topics on the agenda and reviewed the outcomes of the recent program accreditation the University obtained for several of its academic programs.

 

The meeting also reviewed the level of implementation of operational quality plans in the colleges, the results of the academic and administrative performance evaluations, and the impact of training and qualification programs on enhancing the efficiency of teaching and administrative staff.

 

 During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of establishing a culture of institutional quality and continuous improvement, emphasizing the need to leverage accreditation results to improve the educational process and enhance the university's competitiveness at the local and regional levels.

 

The meeting resulted in several decisions and recommendations, most notably: updating quality assurance policies to align with national accreditation requirements, and enhancing integration between quality units in the colleges and the center's deanship.
