The Editorial Board of the Emirates International University's Scientific Journal Holds Regular Meeting to Follow Up on the Plan for the Next Issue

The Editorial Board of the Scientific Journal of the Emirates International University held its regular meeting today, Thursday, chaired by the University President and Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Khaled Salah. The meeting was attended by the University Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani; the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Malek Al-Jabri; and members of the journal's editorial board. The meeting discussed developments in the preparations for the next scientific issue and followed up on the implementation of the publication plan and approved academic regulations for the journal.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President praised the scholarly efforts made by the editorial team, emphasizing the importance of the journal as a peer-reviewed academic platform that reflects the university's research and scientific activity and contributes to strengthening its position among scientific and research institutions locally, regionally, and internationally.
The meeting discussed several topics, most notably the evaluation of scientific research submitted for the third issue, arbitration criteria, mechanisms for improving publication quality, expanding the base of researchers and reviewers collaborating with the journal, and proposals for developing the journal's website to meet the requirements of digital scientific publishing. The members of the committee also reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the publishing process and issued a number of recommendations, most notably increasing invitations to researchers in various disciplines and updating the publishing guide to meet international standards for peer-reviewed journals.
It is worth noting that the Emirates International University Scientific Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that seeks to support sound scientific research and publish studies and research that adhere to scientific methodology and academic documentation in various fields of knowledge.
