On Wednesday, Muharram 21, 1447 AH (July 16, 2025 AD), affiliates of the Emirates International University organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "Support for Gaza... Our marches continue, and our operations escalate."
Participants in the stand, led by the university's Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, a number of college deans, academic and administrative staff, and a crowd of students, expressed pride in the heroic operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the criminal Zionist enemy entity, the most recent of which was the sinking of two ships belonging to companies that violated the ban on entry to occupied Palestinian ports.
The participants reiterated their commitment to continuing mobilization and strengthening preparedness to confront any escalation by the Israeli enemy and its proxies. They also affirmed their commitment to a jihadist stance in support of the Palestinian people, regardless of the sacrifices.
The participants noted that this position is principled and cannot be shaken until the aggression is halted and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted. They denounced the continued Arab and Islamic failure to address the plight of the Muslim Palestinian people, who have been subjected to genocide, starvation, and siege for twenty-one months.
They also renewed their absolute mandate to the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their full readiness to implement any options he directs within the framework of the "Promised Victory and Holy Jihad" battle.
A statement issued by the vigil, delivered by Dr. Khaled Daifallah, explained that, "In response to God Almighty, in jihad for His sake, and seeking His pleasure, we have come out today in our vigil in support of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people and to confront the tyranny and criminality of the Jewish, Zionist, and American regime, which has been committing the most heinous crime of genocide in Gaza for twenty-one months." He said, "We thank God Almighty for His aid and support to the Palestinian resistance fighters and the fighters of our armed forces. We bless the escalation of Palestinian resistance operations and the escalation of our armed forces' operations deep inside the Zionist enemy, and the recent effective naval operations that have shattered the remaining dreams of the enemy of successfully breaching the Yemeni naval blockade and breaking the siege imposed on its ports, at a time when it is annihilating the people of Gaza with its crimes of killing, siege, starvation, and thirst.
He pointed out that the enemy has received, with God's help, strong, resounding, and deterrent blows witnessed by the entire world in sound and image... We congratulate the strong, effective, and unprecedented response of our armed forces in confronting the recent Zionist aggression against our country, asking God Almighty to grant them further insight, success, guidance, and steadfastness.
The statement added, "As we follow the powerful operations of the mujahideen in Gaza in recent days, which have exhausted the enemy with devastating killing and deadly qualitative ambushes, we remember at the same time the suffering of the resistance fighters." With them, all the people of Gaza, as they endure the severity of the massacres, starvation, thirst, and severe siege, we grow more determined, steadfast, confident, and certain that defeating the enemy is possible, regardless of its capabilities and the suffering. We know that the enemy, as God has told us, is weak and cowardly, no matter how criminal and brutal it is. The fruits of patience, hard work, and trust in God are inevitably victory for the patient believers and the defeat of the criminal enemy.
He reiterated his assurance to the wise leadership and to the mujahideen of the armed forces and mujahideen in Gaza that the Muslim, mujahidin of Yemen, with all faith, insight, awareness, and conviction, will not retreat, will not grow weary, will not grow weary, and will not abandon this position, regardless of the suffering and difficulties. He said that they will persevere in the path of God, convinced that patience and steadfastness, along with trust in God, are the only path to the promised victory and imminent relief. He also said that all other options, while certainly involving greater suffering, will yield no fruit or outcome other than shame, disgrace, and loss in this world and the hereafter.
