Launch of the First Semester at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences for the Academic Year 1447 AH

This morning, University President Dr. Khaled Salah, accompanied by Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, launched the first semester of the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 AD), for students at the second level and above, at the University's College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The launch was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, and the Head of the Department of Human Medicine, Dr. Sadiq Abdul-Mughni.
In his address to students during a tour of several classrooms, the University President expressed his happiness at the start of the new academic year, emphasizing the University's commitment to providing high-quality medical education that combines academic and practical aspects and keeps pace with the latest scientific developments. He also praised the efforts made by the College's leadership and faculty members in creating an appropriate learning environment for students.
For his part, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, emphasized the importance of students' commitment to the study plan and their dedication from day one. He noted that the university is committed to implementing its academic vision to graduate qualified medical personnel with the scientific and practical skills necessary to serve the community and the healthcare sector.
The Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, also delivered a speech in which he welcomed the students. He emphasized that the college has completed all academic and logistical preparations for the start of the new academic year and is committed to creating an integrated learning environment that enhances students' academic achievement and clinical training capabilities.
