On Wednesday, Muharram 14, 1447 AH (July 9, 2025 AD), the Emirates International University held a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "Steady with Gaza... Readiness and Mobilization in the Face of Aggression."
Participants in the stand, led by University President Dr. Khaled Salah, Secretary-General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, a number of college deans, academic and administrative staff, and a crowd of students, expressed their condemnation and denunciation of the Zionist enemy's continued perpetration of crimes of genocide, starvation, and the denial of food and medical aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip.
They also denounced the Zionist enemy's violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A statement issued by the participants in the vigil affirmed "the continuation of the weekly demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people with steadfastness and determination, and with readiness and preparedness to confront any aggression, in response to God Almighty, striving for His sake, and seeking His pleasure, relying on God and trusting in His promise, victory, and support."
The statement denounced "the continued silence of most Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the heinous crimes, major massacres, and various crimes of genocide—murder, starvation, and destruction—being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy, along with the Americans, against our brothers in Gaza."
The statement denounced the silence, collusion, and global inaction, and the reliance on deceptive rhetoric that lacks even the most effective action and encourages the enemy to continue its crimes. It noted that this dangerous state the nation has reached has, unfortunately, become "a real and actual threat to its present and future in this world and the hereafter."
The statement affirmed that "the Yemeni people, with their wise leadership, their practical, Quranic, and liberation project, which is clearly effective and influential, their deep-rooted, steadfast faith identity, and their sincere jihadist movement, will not retreat from their great and steadfast positions in support of Gaza, all of Palestine, and the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque."
The statement emphasized that "the threats of the Zionists, the Americans, and their tools have not and will not terrorize the Yemeni people. The enemies know them and they know them, and the battlefields bear witness to the sincerity and steadfastness of their position. Retreats and concessions have no place in their culture and their firm faith in God."
