The leadership of the Emirates International University held an expanded meeting with the College of Engineering and Information Technology staff to discuss the progress of the educational process, review the level of achievement during the past academic year, and review the ongoing preparations for the launch of the academic year 1447 AH.
At the beginning of the meeting, University President Dr. Khaled Ali Ahmed Salah praised the efforts made by the college in establishing a stimulating educational environment and the tangible developments achieved in academic performance and qualitative outcomes. He emphasized the importance of continuing development to keep pace with the evolving demands of the labor market.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, also spoke at the meeting, noting that the university is committed to the quality of applied education and linking theoretical aspects with practical reality. He noted that the new academic year represents an opportunity to enhance standards of academic excellence through discipline, integration between departments, and the activation of scientific research.
The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, reviewed the college's most notable achievements and future plans, praising the university leadership's significant support and its commitment to providing all necessary requirements to create a stimulating academic environment.
The meeting witnessed positive interaction from the faculty members, who offered a number of observations and development proposals and affirmed their commitment to making every effort to ensure a strong start to the new academic year.
This meeting comes within the framework of the university's approach based on effective partnerships with its academic and administrative staff and early planning to ensure quality performance and improve educational outcomes.
The university president, vice president, and faculty members also inspected a number of the college's recently established laboratories.
