Chaired by Dr. Khaled Salah: The Emirates International University Council holds its regular meeting for June 2025

The Emirates International University Council held its regular meeting for June 2025 this morning, Wednesday, chaired by the University President, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Ali Salah. The meeting was attended by the University Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, and the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, along with the deans of the colleges, the Dean of Quality, and several directors of the relevant departments.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Khaled Salah delivered a welcoming speech in which he expressed his pleasure at chairing his first official meeting of the University Council. He appreciated the trust placed in him and affirmed his commitment to working as a team to continue the university's academic and administrative progress and develop its institutional structure. He also expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts made by all faculty members and the academic and administrative staff, noting the importance of concerted efforts during the next phase to enhance academic excellence and develop the university's educational environment.
Dr. Khaled Salah also thanked his predecessor, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, for his outstanding contributions during his tenure as president of the university. He praised his leadership vision and the tangible achievements under his leadership, which formed a solid foundation for continued development.
During the meeting, the Council discussed several topics on its agenda, most notably the preparations and organizational procedures for admission and registration for the academic year 1447 AH (2025–2026 AD), in addition to the academic and administrative preparation plans and academic calendar for the academic year 1447 AH. The meeting also addressed several issues related to academic modernization, enhancing the quality of educational programs, and developing the university's administrative and technical systems.
At the conclusion of the session, the Council issued a set of decisions and recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of academic and administrative work and sustaining the modernization and development processes in line with the university's vision and future mission.
