The Board of Directors of the Emirates International University and the members of the University Council congratulated the Chairman of the Board of Directors on the decision to appoint Dr. Khaled Ahmed Ali Salah as President of the University, succeeding the former President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Muwafari, who played a prominent role in leading the University to broad horizons of development and excellence over the past years. They emphasized that this step represents a qualitative addition to the University's journey and its strategic direction towards academic excellence and institutional leadership.
The members of both councils expressed their full confidence in Dr. Khaled Salah's ability to continue building and developing, and to lead the University towards broader horizons of excellence and innovation, in line with the University's vision to be among the leading universities regionally and internationally. They noted that the University, since its inception, has been keen to attract a select group of distinguished academic and administrative talents, believing that human capital is the fundamental pillar of its renaissance and development.
In this context, members of both councils emphasized that the university relies on an integrated institutional approach based on teamwork. All members—academics and administrators—form a cohesive team working in harmony to achieve a common goal: enhancing the university's standing and improving its performance at all levels, within a framework of dedication, quality, initiative, and continuous perseverance.
For his part, Dr. Khaled Salah appreciated the trust placed in him by the Board of Directors, considering this appointment a national and professional responsibility that he cherishes. He affirmed his commitment to exerting maximum efforts to develop academic and research performance, enhance the quality of the educational process, and enhance the efficiency of accompanying training programs. This will contribute to preparing qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the local and regional labor market.
Dr. Salah pointed out that success in this mission requires working in a team spirit and integrating the university's various academic and administrative components, striving to achieve its vision and mission of leadership and excellence.
It is worth noting that Dr. Khaled Salah holds a PhD in Law, specializing in Social Legislation, with distinction and a recommendation for university exchange from Cairo University, Arab Republic of Egypt (2018). He has held numerous academic and administrative positions at prestigious educational institutions, which has qualified him to gain valuable experience in leading higher education institutions and managing change and development.
The Board of Directors expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Nasser Al-Muwafari, who was appointed President of Al-Nasser University, for his fruitful efforts and distinguished achievements that have contributed to strengthening the university's position locally and regionally.
