The Emirates International University celebrates the farewell of the eighth batch of the Accounting Department in a festive atmosphere filled with pride and achievement.

In an atmosphere filled with pride and achievement, the eighth batch of students from the Accounting Department at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University organized a special student art celebration on Thursday to mark the farewell of the eighth batch for the academic year 1446 AH (2024-2025 AD). The celebration was attended by the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Muwafari; the Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqqaf; the Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Jabr Al-Sanabani; and Professors Roaa Al-Mujahid and Safaa Hassan, college coordinators. A number of faculty and administrative staff members were also present, along with a crowd of parents, relatives, and acquaintances of the graduates.
The ceremony began with a speech delivered by the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Muwafari, in which he welcomed the attendees and expressed his pride and appreciation for this distinguished group of graduates who reflect a bright image of the university's efficient output. In his speech, he emphasized that the university is confidently advancing toward academic leadership, relying on a distinguished academic staff and a stimulating learning environment that keeps pace with the demands of the labor market. He noted that the Department of Accounting is one of the leading departments, demonstrating its academic and field presence through qualified graduates who possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to compete. He urged graduates to continue their journey of learning and giving, and to be the university's best ambassadors in the fields of work and innovation.
The university president emphasized that the responsibility of graduates does not stop at the boundaries of the degree, but rather extends to include contributing to building and defending society and the just causes of the nation, foremost among which is the Palestinian cause, as we consider it the central cause of the nation and the barometer of people's awareness.
Then, the head of the graduation ceremony's preparatory committee, Abdul-Ilah Al-Bawab, delivered a student speech in which he spoke about the eighth batch's journey, praising the significant role the university played in honing their skills and guiding them toward excellence. He expressed the graduates' gratitude to the university administration and their professors, who had the most significant impact on their academic journey.
The ceremony included artistic performances expressing popular solidarity with the nation's central cause, Palestine. Graduating students were honored with certificates of appreciation, expressing the university's gratitude for their commitment and excellence. The students also honored the university leadership, as well as the academic and administrative staff in the Accounting Department, in appreciation of their pioneering role in supervision, follow-up, and continuous support.
The ceremony concluded with documenting special moments and taking commemorative photos, in an atmosphere filled with feelings of pride, nostalgia, and optimism for a bright future awaiting these graduates.
