Student Artistic Ceremony to Farewell the Eighth Class of the University's Information Technology Department for the Academic Year 1446 AH

This morning, Wednesday, students from the eighth class of the Information Technology Department at the University's College of Engineering and Information Technology organized a special student art celebration to mark the farewell of their class for the academic year 1446 AH (2024-2025 AD). The ceremony was attended by a wide range of officials and academics, including a select group of college and university leaders, led by Dr. Ibrahim Farea, Dean of the College; Dr. Farouq Al-Fuhaidi, Head of the Information Technology Department; Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hijami, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department; Dr. Mohammed Al-Khawlani, Faculty Member; Engineer Osama Hazam, Activities Officer; Engineer Fathi Salman, Head of the Training and Rehabilitation Center; Engineer Zaid Al-Washli and Engineer Ahlam Al-Hamdani, Department Teaching Assistants; and a number of academic and administrative staff members.
The university's speech at the ceremony was delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Farea, Dean of the College. He expressed his pride in the achievements of the eighth batch during their academic careers and congratulated them on their graduation. He emphasized that the college's academic and professional excellence reflects the students' commitment and the faculty's dedication to building a technical generation capable of making a difference in the job market. He also urged the graduates to continue their journey of learning and giving, and to be the university's best ambassadors in the fields of work and creativity.
The ceremony featured a variety of artistic performances that expressed feelings of solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters, touching the hearts of the attendees. In addition, students were honored, along with faculty members from the college and department.
For their part, the eighth batch students expressed their gratitude to the university and college leadership, as well as to the faculty members for their support and guidance throughout their years of study, emphasizing that the knowledge and experience they have gained at the university will serve as a foundation for their future careers.
The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of joy and memories, amid applause and tears of joy and nostalgia, allowing the students to commemorate the farewell moment as an everlasting memory in their academic journey.
