On Tuesday, students of the eighth class of the Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences organized a special student artistic ceremony to mark the farewell of the class, named "Information Yafa," for the academic year 1446 AH (2024-2025 AD). The ceremony was held amidst an atmosphere filled with joy and memories.

 

The ceremony witnessed a prominent academic and administrative presence, led by the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, and the Head of the Department of Management Information Systems, Dr. Mukhtar Ghilan. Also present were Dr. Hisham Aqlan and Dr. Ashwaq Al-Jaboubi, faculty members in the department, and Engineer Osama Hazam, the University Activities Officer. Professors Safaa Al-Bahloli and Safaa Hassan, college coordinators, also attended.

 

 In his speech on behalf of the university, Dr. Mokhtar Ghilan, Head of the Department of Management Information Systems, expressed the university's pride in this group of graduates. He praised the increasing importance of the MIS major in the digital age, as it combines technical and administrative skills to enable graduates to lead digital transformation in various organizations.

 

Dr. Mokhtar Ghilan emphasized that the department continuously strives to develop its educational outcomes to keep pace with market demands. He urged graduates to continue learning and engage confidently in the workplace, serving as role models reflecting the university's excellence and the efficiency of its academic programs.

 

Omar Abdel Aziz, Head of the Preparatory Committee, also delivered a speech on behalf of his fellow graduates. He expressed his thanks and gratitude to their university and its leadership, as well as to everyone who contributed to their academic journey, including professors, administration, and colleagues. He emphasized that these years were filled with challenges and successes that shaped them into individuals capable of making a difference.

 

After honoring the graduates, the academic staff were honored with certificates of appreciation to express their appreciation for their contributions throughout their academic careers.

 

 Student graduation ceremonies embody the spirit of belonging and loyalty, and emphasize the university students' commitment to creating a comprehensive educational experience that goes beyond academics, but also encompasses activities, giving, and belonging.
