Launch of the ICDL Computer Driving Licence Training Course for University Students from Various Majors

As part of the university's commitment to enhancing students' digital skills and preparing them for the job market with confidence and excellence, the Training and Qualification Center at the Emirates International University launched an ICDL Computer Driving Licence Training Course for the first group of students enrolled in the course. This course is part of the university's summer training program for university students, "Package One." The course was attended by a wide range of students from various academic disciplines.
This 50-hour training course is part of the university's efforts to provide an integrated educational environment that combines theoretical academic aspects with practical application. It aims to provide students with the basic digital competencies required in the local and international job market.
The training program includes multiple modules covering computer basics, file management, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and information security, in addition to internet and email applications. This ensures that students possess comprehensive and internationally recognized skills in dealing with various computer systems.
Through the implementation of programs and training courses for its students, the university aims to embody the university's mission of preparing cadres capable of interacting with the changes of the digital age and competing strongly in modern work environments, in light of the rapid transformations witnessed by the labor market and its increasing reliance on technological competencies.
Through these unique initiatives, the university seeks to build a generation of graduates who are intellectually and technically qualified, possess the tools for success, and represent a true addition to the workplaces they join in the future.
