Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, the University's Secretary-General, and Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, visited Al-Thawra General Hospital on Tuesday. They met with the Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Hamdan Bajri, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation between the University and the hospital and ways to enhance the partnership in the field of clinical training for medical students.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary-General and the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences emphasized the strong relationship between the University and Al-Thawra Hospital, expressing their thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Authority and all hospital staff for their support and constructive cooperation with the student trainees. They also highlighted the importance of strengthening this relationship to achieve integration between the academic aspects at the University and clinical training at the hospital, with the goal of graduating qualified medical personnel who meet modern scientific standards and gain real-life practical experience.
For his part, Dr. Hamdan Bajri commended the visit, expressing his happiness with the ongoing communication with the Emirates International University and his willingness to provide all necessary facilities to contribute to the success of the clinical training program for students. He emphasized the university's excellence and academic reputation, and praised the university's academic excellence.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Secretary-General and the Dean of the College conducted a field visit to inspect the fifth-level students training at the hospital, where they met in the lecture hall. Dr. Fouad Hanash expressed his pride in the discipline and excellence in practical performance, emphasizing the university's commitment to providing an integrated educational environment. Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri also praised the students' performance and commitment to professional ethics, noting that clinical training is the cornerstone of qualifying a competent physician.
