Reflecting the serious commitment to enhancing integration between academic and practical aspects, the leadership of the Emirates International University organized a field visit on Sunday to the Modern Pharmaceutical Company, one of the leading institutions in the pharmaceutical industry. This visit is part of the preparations for the signing of a cooperation and partnership agreement aimed at supporting practical training for university students.

The delegation was headed by the university president, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, and the secretary-general, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash. They were accompanied by the dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, and the vice dean of the College of Medicine and Head of the Department of Human Medicine, Dr. Sadiq Abdul-Mughni. They were received by the company's management and senior executives (Dr. Fahim Al-Qubati and Dr. Zakaria Al-Shuaibi). The visit affirmed the university's commitment to opening new horizons for its students by bridging the gap between academics and production sites.

During the visit, the university leadership and the company's executive management held a fruitful discussion session about potential cooperation mechanisms and the training programs the company can offer to students from other medical and scientific colleges.

In a statement, the university president emphasized that this step falls within the university's strategy to prepare graduates with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience. He noted that the anticipated agreement will represent a qualitative shift in practical training and may later open up opportunities for employment and joint scientific research.

For its part, the company's management welcomed this initiative, praising the university's vision and its determination to prepare qualified national cadres who contribute to the advancement of the health and pharmaceutical sectors.

The agreement is expected to be officially signed in the coming days, marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership that will serve the interests of the student first and the nation ultimately.
