As part of its ongoing commitment to instilling a culture of excellence and advancing the educational process, the leadership of the International University of the Emirates held an expanded meeting today, Monday, with the top students and delegates from various departments of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences.
The meeting was characterized by positive interaction and constructive dialogue. The university leadership listened directly to the students' opinions and comments and discussed with them the most prominent challenges they face, affirming its ongoing commitment to providing a stimulating and distinguished educational environment.
The meeting was chaired by the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, and attended by the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali. Also present were the heads of the academic departments: Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqaf (Department of Accounting, Finance and Banking), Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi (Department of International Business Administration), Dr. Jabr Al-Sanabani (Department of Business Administration), and Dr. Mukhtar Ghilan (Department of Management Information Systems), in addition to a select group of academic staff, teaching assistants, and academic coordinators. In his opening remarks, Dr. Nasser Al-Mufri expressed his pride in the top students, praising their academic excellence and emphasizing that the university relies on these young talents to lead the future in the fields of administrative and financial sciences. He also emphasized that the university places great importance on fostering an environment of creativity and innovation, enabling students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
During the meeting, the floor was opened for discussion. The students presented a number of constructive comments and suggestions, which received significant attention from the university leadership, the college deanship, and department heads. It was emphasized that all suggestions would be carefully studied and worked on to transform them into practical measures to improve the quality of education and services provided.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the university leadership reiterated its commitment to strengthening channels of effective communication with students, considering the student voice a key partner in the process of continuous development and improvement. Everyone emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to achieve the college and university's mission of providing quality educational outcomes that meet the aspirations of society and the labor market.
