Solidarity stand at the Emirates International University affirms continued support for Gaza and readiness to confront any aggression against Yemen

On Wednesday, Shawwal 25, 1446 AH (April 22, 2025 AD), the Emirates International University organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "Standing Firm with Gaza in the Face of the US-Israeli Escalation." The stand affirmed the university's readiness to confront any US-Israeli escalation against Yemen.
Participants in the stand, led by the university president, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, the university vice president, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the secretary general, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, a number of deans and heads of academic departments, academic and administrative staff, and a crowd of university students, raised slogans and chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the Zionist entity, which has committed the most heinous massacres of genocide against the Palestinian people. They also called for continued steadfastness and perseverance in the face of the US aggression, which supports the Zionist enemy, which is committing war crimes against our brothers in Gaza.
Participants in the vigil renewed the absolute mandate of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take all appropriate measures to deter the American aggression targeting civilians and civilian objects, and to continue supporting our brothers in Gaza and Palestine.
The participants also emphasized that the American aggression, no matter how persistent its crimes and terrorism, will not deter the people of faith and wisdom from continuing to support the Palestinian people and defend the nation's causes and sanctities, regardless of the sacrifices and challenges.
The participants praised the heroic operations carried out by the armed forces against the vital targets of the Zionist enemy and the American aircraft carriers and warships that are attacking the Yemeni people and their capabilities.
A statement issued by the "Steady with Gaza in the Face of the American-Israeli Escalation" vigil at the Emirates International University explained that, in continuation of the honorable positions of Yemen, a country of faith, wisdom, and jihad, the Yemeni people have taken to the streets in million-man marches, striving for the sake of God, seeking His pleasure, supporting the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people, and responding to the American-Zionist aggression against our country.
He affirmed, "Our position on Gaza is steadfast—relying on God, trusting in Him, and relying on Him no matter how aggressive the American enemy becomes. We will not fail to implement God's clear directives in the Holy Quran under the influence of American or other pressure. We declare our readiness for any type of escalation and our continued support for the Palestinian people, both officially and popularly, through military operations, general mobilization, the million-man march, events and activities, spending in the cause of God, the economic boycott of the enemy, and media, cultural, and mobilization efforts."
The statement also affirmed that "the American aggression against our country has failed to achieve any of its objectives, the first of which is its inability to break our will and determination. Here we are, despite the ongoing bombardment, responding to God Almighty, His Holy Book, His Messenger, may God's prayers be upon him and his family, and our leader, the scholar Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may God protect him). We affirm the enemy's inability to influence our victorious armed forces. Our operations continue deep within the enemy's reach, our seas are off-limits to its ships, aircraft carriers are failing one after another, and the enemy's most advanced aircraft are being shot down. God's protection of us is evident and we see and feel it, praise and thanks be to God." He called on "the peoples of the nation to join us in this endeavor, responding to God and defending ourselves against the enemies' violation of us and our countries. Otherwise, shame and humiliation will await us in this world, and painful torment in the Hereafter." He asked God Almighty to "hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahideen, to grant us victory through His victory, to have mercy on our martyrs, to heal our wounded, and to release our prisoners. He is the All-Hearing, All-Answering of prayers."
