University Leadership Meets with College of Engineering Staff to Review Academic Progress and Preparations for Admissions and Registration for the Academic Year 1447 AH

The leadership of the Emirates International University held an expanded meeting today, Thursday, with the College of Engineering staff. The meeting aimed to review the progress of the college's academic process and discuss ongoing preparations for the admissions and registration process for the upcoming academic year 1447 AH.

 

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, President of the University, and attended by the University Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi; Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea; and heads of academic departments, teaching assistants, and academic coordinators from the college's departments.

 

During the meeting, the University President praised the efforts of the college's academic and administrative staff, emphasizing the important role the College of Engineering plays in graduating qualified personnel equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to provide society with qualified engineering talent.

 

 The Dean of the College of Engineering presented a detailed report on the progress of the educational process for the second semester across various departments and specializations, highlighting the efforts made to improve the quality of education. The challenges facing the college and ways to overcome them were also discussed.

 

The meeting also addressed the ongoing preparations for the admissions and registration process for the academic year 1447 AH, discussing plans and mechanisms to attract the largest possible number of students who meet the admission requirements to the college's various departments.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of concerted efforts was emphasized to ensure the success of the educational process, admissions and registration, and to achieve the university's goals.
