The Artificial Intelligence Department at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University held a meeting to discuss the practical field training plan for the department's students. The discussion focused primarily on developing students' skills in robotics programming using the Python programming language.

The meeting, chaired by the University's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, was attended by the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi; the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Farea; the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hijami; and a number of faculty members from the department, in addition to representatives from various organizations specializing in robotics and artificial intelligence training.

The field training plan aims to provide students with the necessary practical experience and apply the theoretical concepts studied in the lecture halls to real-life projects in the field of robotics programming. The training is scheduled to focus extensively on the use of the Python language, given its growing importance in developing artificial intelligence and robotics applications.

During the meeting, the detailed objectives of the training plan, potential host institutions, and mechanisms for evaluating and monitoring student performance during the training period were reviewed. The importance of linking training outcomes to the growing needs of the labor market in this vital field was also emphasized.

During the meeting, the University Secretary-General emphasized that practical field training is an essential element in preparing qualified graduates capable of competing in the labor market.

For their part, the Head of Department and the Dean of the College indicated that the plan comes within the framework of the College's ongoing efforts and commitment to providing students with practical skills that qualify them for the labor market and keep pace with the latest technical and scientific developments in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.

Final details of the field training plan are expected to be announced soon, with implementation scheduled to begin during the next semester.
