The Emirates International University resumed its official work today, Saturday, following the Eid al-Fitr holiday with an expanded meeting for academic and administrative staff at the university.
The meeting was chaired by Eng. Mohammed Al-Dhaifani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, President of the University, and Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Secretary-General. The meeting was attended by deans of colleges, heads of academic departments, and all academic and administrative staff at the university.
The meeting aimed to exchange congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and the start of the new academic year. The meeting also reviewed the preparations for the admissions and registration process for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 AD). The meeting also expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just cause, and highlighted the importance of participating in all official, popular, and university-level activities supporting the Palestinian people.
The meeting opened with a speech by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Mohammed Al-Dhaifani, in which he extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to all university members, both academic and administrative, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. He emphasized the need for concerted efforts to continue the university's progress and advancement.
The President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, also delivered a speech during the meeting, welcoming the attendees and extending his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. He praised the efforts made by university members to ensure the success of the academic process, advance the university's standing, and achieve its lofty goals. He urged them to exert further efforts and mobilize their energies to ensure the success of the admissions and registration process for the current year.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, extended his congratulations to all university members on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and the start of official school hours. He expressed his deep belief that working in a spirit of cooperation and integration is the foundation of success, noting everyone's aspirations for a new phase of giving and productivity that will further the university's distinction and progress.
The academic and administrative staff expressed their happiness at this meeting, during which they exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the return to work, and the resumption of academic and administrative activities.
