Emirati University Students Win First Place in the Third Holy Quran Competition for the 20-Juz Category and Third Place in the 10-Juz Category

Students from the Emirates International University achieved a remarkable achievement in the Third Holy Quran Competition for the year 1446 AH, which concluded today in the capital, Sana'a. The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research - Higher Education Sector - and hosted by September 21 University among Yemeni universities.

Student Amr Muhammad Ahmad Al-Jahoushi won first place in the 20-Juz category and was honored with the Ministry's shield, a certificate of participation, and a cash prize. Student Muhammad Ahmad Muhammad Al-Tawaf won third place in the 10-Juz category and was honored with a certificate of participation and a cash prize.

The competition featured 110 male and female contestants from 25 public and private universities and community colleges in the capital and other governorates, under the supervision of a male and female judging committees in the "Complete Quran, 20, 10, and 5 Juz" Quran memorization and recitation categories.

 This achievement confirms the university's commitment to engaging its students in all activities that promote and instill faith values in their hearts, encourage them to memorize and recite the Holy Quran, and enhance their skills and abilities.

The Emirates International University expresses its pride in its winning and participating students in the Holy Quran Competition. The winners and participants will be honored after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, Undersecretary Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, Director of Activities at the Ministry, Professor Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, and President of September 21 University, Dr. Mujahid Musar, honored the university for its participation in the third competition. The certificate was received by Eng. Osama Saleh Hazam, Director of Activities at the university.
