First aid course for first-level students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences concluded in cooperation with the Yemeni Red Crescent

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Emirates International University concluded today, Monday, the intensive training course in first aid for first-level students of the Department of Human Medicine, which was implemented by the Training and Rehabilitation Center in cooperation with the Yemeni Red Crescent Society.
The three-day course aimed to provide students with basic skills and knowledge in the field of first aid, and enable them to deal with various emergency cases and injuries that they may encounter in their professional and community lives.
100 male and female students from the first-level students of the Department of Human Medicine participated in the course, where they were divided into groups to receive theoretical and practical training at the hands of an elite group of trainers specialized in first aid from the Yemeni Red Crescent.
The course covered a wide range of important topics, including: rapid examination of the injured, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway obstruction and suffocation, mass casualties, children's emergencies, and other related topics.
