The Emirates International University commemorated, this Sunday morning, the anniversary of the martyr leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the man of responsibility, the martyr President Saleh al-Samad, and to honor the graduates of the Al-Aqsa Flood courses from the university students.

In the event, which was attended by the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi al-Mufri, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Abu Hussein Hamdan, and the cultural activist Abu Ragheb, the President of the University, Dr. Nasser al-Mufri, stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons and morals from their jihadist journey, and the necessity of adhering to their approach and continuing to walk on their path in confronting tyranny and the dangers that surround the nation.

The President of the University pointed out that the martyr leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi presented a unique model of struggle in confronting foreign hegemony and defending the dignity of the nation, and was a symbol of knowledge and science, courage and boldness.

He added that the martyred President Saleh al-Samad was the man of the difficult stage, and a leader who brought together the factions and unified the ranks in light of the aggression, as he raised the slogan "A hand that protects and a hand that builds", and worked to strengthen the cohesion of the internal front and build the state despite the circumstances of war and siege.

The university president also praised the role of the graduates in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses, noting that they represent a new generation of qualified youth capable of defending the homeland and serving the homeland in various fields.

For his part, the cultural activist Abu Ragheb pointed out that the martyr leader carried a Quranic project that revived the nation and made it more aware of the plans of hegemony and colonialism, pointing out that the martyrdom of President al-Samad was the result of an American conspiracy par excellence, as described by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

He added that al-Samad assumed responsibility at a time when the position was a sacrifice, not a gain, and he was a military and development leader alike, stressing that his values and principles will remain immortal in the conscience of the Yemeni people as an honorable model of sacrifice and altruism.

Cultural activist Abu Ragheb congratulated the graduates who had the honor of joining and graduating from the courses, noting the importance of everyone having a sense of responsibility in preparing and getting ready to qualify themselves in various scientific, cultural and military aspects to build and defend the homeland.

The event included a poem by the student poet Youssef Al-Dailami, expressing the skills acquired by the graduates of the Al-Aqsa Flood courses in its cultural and military aspects as a complement to the scientific and academic aspects, and the knowledge they acquired in the context of preparing to build the country and confront any aggression targeting it.

At the end of the event, a number of students who graduated from the Al-Aqsa Flood courses were honored.
