Qusai" kicked off in the capital Sana'a today with the participation of the Emirates International University, and in the presence of members of the Supreme Political Council Sultan Al-Samai and Mohammed Al-Naimi, and heads of the Council of Ministers Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, and the Shura Council Mohammed Al-Eidaroos.

At the opening of the conference, which lasts for three days with wide local and international participation, member of the Supreme Political Council Al-Naimi stressed the importance of this conference in shedding light on the repercussions and results of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle and its role in correcting the collective awareness and concepts that were frozen and petrified at all official and popular levels.

He pointed out that the Al-Aqsa Flood came to unify concepts around the issue of the nation and humanity and rally around it, and highlight the honorable Yemeni role in supporting the Palestinian people and maintaining the state of general mobilization to join the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses in various state institutions.

He pointed to the successes achieved by the Al-Aqsa Flood on the humanitarian level and the self-decision and collective decision of peoples and nations.. calling on the participants to study all the repercussions, results and challenges at all levels and come up with solutions and proposals for those challenges.

The member of the Supreme Political Council said, "We need a flood in education in Yemen and to set standards for its outputs according to market requirements." He urged government and private universities to cooperate and partner with the Ministry of Education to set standards that would ensure a scientific renaissance in various fields.

For his part, the Prime Minister stressed that this conference, organized by six Yemeni universities, is a major qualitative work that embodies the extent of the Yemeni's connection to his central issue "Palestine" and to the course of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle and highlighting it.. explaining that this flood was a violent and horrific earthquake over the Zionist enemy and a prominent victory for the Palestinian people and the free people of the nation, and a disastrous intelligence and security failure for the enemy.

He noted the importance and dimensions of the conference, which is considered a renewal of the position of the Yemenis, led by the Leader, on the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” and the Palestinian cause in general. He indicated that Yemen’s religious, moral and humanitarian position is a principled position expressed by the Leader of the Revolution in more than one speech, including his speech last Thursday, in which he confirmed the readiness of Yemen’s leadership, government and people to continue standing by the Palestinian people and supporting them, as well as to escalate again if the Zionist enemy decides to resume its aggression onthe Gaza Strip.

He said, "The scenes of the displaced people of Gaza returning to their areas in the north on foot showed the deep-rooted attachment of the Palestinian people to their land and their unwillingness to abandon it, no matter the sacrifices."

He added, "The Palestinian returned to his demolished home and destroyed areas voluntarily because every atom in him is connected to his soil and everything in it, while the Zionist settlers refuse to return to the settlements, indicating their lack of attachment to the land because they realize that it is not their land and that their presence there is temporary."

Al-Rahwi renewed full solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people in light of the Israeli enemy's continued criminal raids against villages and towns in southern Lebanon.

In the context of his speech, he praised the statement of the African Union conference issued yesterday and what it included of strong condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and called on them to continue to stand by the right and against injustice and tyranny.

He described this position as positive, which is credited to the African peoples and their leaders, in addition to the position taken by South Africa to file a lawsuit in the International Criminal Court against Zionist war criminals, convicting them of committing the crime of genocide and establishing an apartheid regime in Palestine.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the conference, which is attended by a group of academics, researchers and influential figures worldwide, will achieve the goals for which it was held, most notably raising awareness among our peoples to stand by just and legitimate causes anywhere in the world and by the oppressed and persecuted by American-Zionist global imperialism and its great tyranny.
