Opening of the Scientific Projects Exhibition in the Building Construction 2 Course for Second-Level Architecture Students

The University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, along with the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, opened today, Saturday, the Scientific Projects Exhibition in the Building Construction 2 Course for Second-Level Architecture Students, in the College of Engineering and Information Technology. This was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the Head of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Ahmed Yafaa, and a number of heads of scientific departments in the college.
During the opening of the exhibition, the University President praised the efforts made by the students in preparing and implementing their scientific projects, which reflected the extent of the knowledge and skills they acquired in the Building Construction Course.
The University President stressed the importance of such exhibitions in motivating students to be creative and innovative, developing the spirit of competition among them, developing their abilities and skills, and exchanging experiences and experiments among them.
The University President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the teaching team in the Department of Architecture for their efforts in supervising and guiding the students in preparing scientific projects.
The scientific projects participating in the exhibition, which amounted to more than 40 projects, varied between metal models, shell structures, and tent structures, in modeling real projects and academic projects, and many ceilings and details such as vacuum ceilings and flat ceilings were used.
The attendees toured the exhibition, where they viewed the various projects and listened to an explanation from the students about their ideas and designs. The exhibition received the attention of the visitors, as they expressed their admiration for the scientific projects presented by the students.
The students expressed their happiness at the opening of the scientific projects exhibition, stressing that these exhibitions contribute to motivating them to be creative and innovative, and developing the spirit of competition among them.
The opening was also attended by the professor of Architectural Construction 2, Engineer Muhammad Al-Madhaji, and Ms. Hanan Dahhan, a teaching assistant in the department, and a number of faculty members and their assistants in the department.
