The Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the Emirates International University organized a workshop today, Saturday, to review the university's annual report models, in the presence of the university president, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, and a number of representatives of the various colleges and departments at the university.
The workshop aimed to review and discuss the best practices in preparing annual reports, exchange experiences among participants, and work according to the unified models of annual reports according to the nature of the data required from the colleges and departments, each according to the nature of the tasks, and in a way that ensures the unification of quality standards and comprehensiveness in presenting data and statistics.
During the workshop, Dr. Nasser Al-Mufri, President of the University, stressed the importance of annual reports in evaluating the university's academic and administrative performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and making appropriate decisions to improve performance and contribute to the continuous development of the academic and administrative aspects of the university.
For his part, Secretary-General Dr. Fouad Hanash stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the various colleges and departments at the university to prepare an accurate and comprehensive annual report that reflects the university's actual performance.
Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, gave a presentation that included the various models and forms for the annual report, and the importance of including accurate and comprehensive data and statistics, and analyzing them objectively.
The workshop concluded with a number of recommendations, including: working according to the unified models for the annual report, in a way that ensures the unification of quality standards and comprehensiveness in presenting data and statistics, and in a way that enables the use of annual reports in evaluating performance and making decisions, and developing the necessary plans and programs to improve performance.
