A scientific visit for the Department of Architecture, third level, to the Narcissus Hotel Sana'a as part of the Architectural Design course

With the aim of linking the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect, the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University implemented a scientific visit for the students of the third level department to the Narcissus Hotel Sana'a, as part of the Architectural Design course, accompanied by Dr. Sahar Al-Eryani, Professor of the Architectural Design 5 course, and Engineer Nada Al-Sarouri.
With the aim of linking the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect, and providing students with a unique opportunity to study the design of a luxury hotel up close.
During the visit, the students took a detailed tour of the various parts of the hotel, starting from the main lobby to the luxurious rooms and suites, restaurants and other facilities. They listened to a comprehensive explanation by the course doctor and the teaching assistant, about the planning of the hotel and the design ideas that were followed, the challenges facing the engineers, the solutions that were created to overcome those challenges, the materials used and the movement inside the hotel.
This visit comes within the framework of the scientific visits program organized by the department for its students to introduce them to the latest technologies and practices used in designing and building hotels.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their happiness with this visit, as they were able to learn about the latest technologies used in the field of architectural engineering in the field of hotel construction. They thanked the hotel management for their cooperation in organizing this visit.
