Practical workshop on architectural trends and modern architectural output methods for third and fourth level architecture students

The College of Engineering and Information Technology, Department of Architecture at the Emirates International University, organized an intensive practical workshop on architectural trends and modern architectural output methods today, Thursday, for third and fourth level architecture students. The workshop was attended by the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri, and a number of academic and administrative staff at the university.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the latest trends in the world of architectural design and modern architectural output methods, and enable them to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquired during their studies.
The workshop addressed a number of guidelines on the concepts of sustainability in architectural design, reviewing the latest technologies used in architectural design, encouraging creative thinking and innovation in architectural design, the concept of interactive architecture, the importance of function in architectural design, how to achieve a balance between form and function, and how to integrate traditional elements into modern architectural design, while preserving the cultural identity of the place.
During the opening, Secretary-General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash pointed out that organizing the workshop comes within the framework of the university's keenness to provide a stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing the capabilities of our students and providing them with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the constantly changing labor market.
