The Vice President of the University and the Secretary General meet the University's first football team participating in the second Yemeni Universities Championship for the Palestine Cup

The Vice President of the Emirates International University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, and the Secretary General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, met this morning, Wednesday, with the University's first football team participating in the second Yemeni Universities Championship for the Palestine Cup, which is organized by the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, for students of Yemeni universities and community colleges for the academic year 2024-2025 AD, in the presence of the Activities Officer, Engineer Osama Hazam, and members of the team's technical staff.
In the meeting, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Secretary General of the University, congratulated the team on its victory in its first matches in the championship, and praised the level of performance presented by the team during the match. Stressing his support for all activities that contribute to refining the talents and capabilities of students in various scientific, cultural, sports and other different activities.
The Secretary-General urged the team to maintain the excellence achieved by the team in previous championships and to continue success and achieve positive results that reflect the excellence of the UAE University, its level and its position among universities at the country level, leading to winning the championship cup.
It is worth noting that the championship lasts (20) days, and (32) teams representing (32) governmental and private universities compete in it, distributed into eight groups, each group containing four teams.
