Conclusion of the First Aid Course for Medical Laboratory and Clinical Pharmacy Students in Cooperation with the Yemeni Red Crescent

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the International Emirates University concluded today, Wednesday, the intensive training course in first aid for students of the Medical Laboratory and Clinical Pharmacy departments, which was organized by the Training and Rehabilitation Center over three days, in cooperation with the Yemeni Red Crescent Society.
The course aimed to provide students with basic skills and knowledge in the field of first aid, and enable them to deal with various emergency cases and injuries that they may encounter in their professional and community lives.
Approximately 110 male and female students from various levels in the Medical Laboratory and Clinical Pharmacy Department participated in the course, and the course covered a wide range of important topics, including: rapid examination of the injured, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway obstruction and suffocation, mass casualties, pediatric emergencies, and other related topics.
