The Secretary-General of the University inspects the progress of specialized scientific training courses for students of the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering

In a step that confirms the university's keenness to follow up on the development of its students' skills and provide them with the latest knowledge in their fields, the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, inspected today, Tuesday, the progress of specialized scientific training courses for students of the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the Head of the Training and Rehabilitation Center, Eng. Fathi Salman, and the Head of Activities, Eng. Osama Hazam.
During the visit, the Secretary-General, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, was closely briefed on the progress of the training courses. The Secretary-General spoke with the participants and trainers, and listened to their opinions and suggestions about these intensive training programs, stressing the university's constant keenness to enhance the ideal educational environment for students.
The Secretary-General of the University praised the distinguished level of the training courses, stressing that they contribute greatly to developing the skills and capabilities of students, and preparing them for the labor market. He also stressed the importance of continuing to organize such courses, and expanding their scope to include more specializations and faculties.
It is worth noting that this week, under the patronage of the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, a number of specialized training courses were launched as follows:
First: College of Medicine and Health Sciences: First aid course for students of the Medical Laboratories and Clinical Pharmacy departments.
Second: College of Engineering and Information Technology:
Training course in: Autodesk Revit: for students of the Civil Engineering Department, second level, and for those who wish from higher level students
Training course in: Raspberry Pi: for students of the Mechatronics Engineering and Medical Equipment Engineering Departments, fourth level
Specialized training course for oil and gas students entitled: “Basics of Dynamic Modeling of Oil Well Drilling Using the Drillbench Program”
Training course for cybersecurity students, third and fourth levels, on the Information Systems Auditor and CIS Critical Security Controls
Training course for cybersecurity students, first and second levels, on Information Security Management
The Training and Rehabilitation Center is scheduled to organize a number of specialized courses and workshops in various colleges during this week and the coming weeks within the framework of a training program aimed at qualifying university students and graduates and providing them with the necessary skills to compete in the labor market with confidence, competence and distinction.
The students participating in the courses expressed their thanks and appreciation to the university leadership for its interest and keenness to provide training programs that contribute to raising their scientific and practical efficiency. They stressed that these courses represent a qualitative addition to their academic career.
