Launching a training course for first and second level cybersecurity students on information security management

The university president, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, accompanied by the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, and the Head of the Information Technology Department, Dr. Adnan Al-Mutawakel, launched a training course for first and second level cybersecurity students on information security management, for first and second level cybersecurity students and information technology students, as part of the university's efforts to provide its students with the latest knowledge and skills necessary to face the increasing challenges in the field of cybersecurity.. In the presence of the Training Center Officer, Engineer Fathi Salman, and the Activities Officer, Engineer Osama Hazam.
The course, presented by Engineer Ezz El-Din Mutahhar for 5 days with a total of 10 training hours, aims to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles of information security management, and enable them to understand the importance of protecting data and digital assets for institutions and individuals.
Participants in the course will learn a wide range of skills, including: information security management frameworks, cybersecurity threats, applying best practices in the field of security risk management, and learning about various information protection tools and systems.
In his speech during the launch, the university president, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, stressed the importance of this course in qualifying university students in the field of cybersecurity, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to deal with the increasing challenges in the field of information security, and providing them with the latest tools and technologies used in this vital field.
