Launching a specialized training course for oil and gas students entitled: "Basics of Dynamic Modeling of Oil Well Drilling Using Drillbench Program"

The President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, accompanied by the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Fareh, Head of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, and the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, Dr. Ahmed Sultan, launched a specialized training course on "Basics of Dynamic Modeling of Oil Well Drilling Using Drillbench Program" for students of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department, to link the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect through practical application on real models.. In the presence of the Training Center Manager, Engineer Fathi Salman, and the Activities Manager, Engineer Osama Hazam.
The course, presented by Engineer Labib Omar Hajri, aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and apply the principles of dynamic modeling of oil well drilling operations, using one of the most important specialized programs in this field, which is the Drillbench program.
The course, which is offered over 5 days with a total of 10 training hours, includes an introduction to oil well drilling operations, principles of dynamic modeling, an introduction to the Drillbench program interface and its basic functions, how to build dynamic models for different drilling stages, analyze and interpret simulation results, and practical application on real models.
In his speech during the launch, the university president, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, indicated that this course represents an important step in our students' journey towards integration into the labor market. The Drillbench program is one of the most important tools used by drilling engineers around the world, and therefore mastering this program gives our graduates a great competitive advantage."
