A scientific visit for the fourth-level students of the Mechatronics Engineering Department to the Amran Cement Factory

Within the framework of enhancing the practical aspect and linking academic knowledge to real-world applications, the Mechatronics Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at the Emirates International University organized a scientific field visit for the department's students - fourth level to the Amran Cement Factory, accompanied by Eng. Mohammed Osama Al-Maqtari.. With the aim of exploring the world of advanced industry, and learning about the various production departments and modern technologies used in various fields.
The scientific visit began by first getting to know the electricity and control department, power, energy and transformers, then the mechanical department, crushers, mixers and rotary kiln, passing through the maintenance and supervisory control department Scada, passing through the various factory departments and then the packaging and final product packaging department.
The students listened to the specialists in the factory explaining the stages of production, starting from preparing raw materials to the packaging and packaging processes, which allowed them to see the integration of electronic and mechanical systems in daily work.
The visit was marked by the students' interaction with the engineers and technicians in the factory, where they discussed the challenges facing production processes and how to improve efficiency and quality using the latest mechatronics technologies.
The visit was a great source of inspiration for the students, as they expressed their admiration for the level of technical development and the importance of automation in supporting various industries. They presented a special certificate of thanks to the Training Department at Amran Cement Factory for their cooperation with the students of the Emirates International University and providing them with the best information to benefit from in their practical lives.
