Enhancing automation in all university buildings and service facilities at the university

In a step to enhance automation efforts and adopt the latest technologies in facilitating facility management, Dr. Fouad Hanash, Secretary-General of the Emirates International University, inaugurated the Central Automation Unit on campus.
During the inauguration, the Secretary-General considered that the automation of operations at the university is proceeding according to a plan aimed at facilitating university transactions and updating management methods to ensure that the service is provided in the best possible way.. stressing that what was inaugurated today is a step that contributes to enhancing security and safety and improving facility management, achieving the principle of a safe educational environment, and preserving the property of the university and its members from academic and administrative staff and students.
The opening of the unit was attended by Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Engineer Muhammad Al-Banna, Director of the Information Systems Department at the university, Professor Marwan Al-Zira’i, General Registrar, and Professor Zaid Al-Hamdani, Director of the Security Company.
