Scientific visit for second-level female chemical engineering students to Shamlan Water Factory

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the Emirates International University organized, this Sunday morning, a scientific visit for second-level female students to Arwa Mineral Water Company "Shamlan Water", with the aim of linking the theoretical aspect that students receive in lecture halls with the practical aspect in the labor market.
The students were accompanied during the visit by Professor Dr. Hani Damaj, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, and were received by Chemical Engineer Mustafa Al-Arabi, Director of the Quality Department.
All production units were visited, starting from water wells and the initial process to the final process, and all production lines were viewed, including the new line with a production capacity of 75,000 cartons per day and fully automated.. accompanied by Chemical Engineers Mustafa Al-Mujahid and Jamal Al-Arabi.
The quality testing laboratories were also identified as a final stage before the product is delivered to the consumer.
At the end of the visit, the head of the department and the students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the factory management and all its employees for the warm reception and their efforts to make the scientific visit of the university students a success.
