Today, Monday, 30 Jumada al-Awwal, corresponding to December 2, 2024, the photo and model exhibition was opened as part of the activities commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyr at the Emirates University, in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Engineer Muhammad Al-Wadaei, and a number of academic and administrative staff and students.
The exhibition, which was organized by the Activities Department and the Mobilization Committee, and in which students from various disciplines participated, as part of the activities and activities commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyr for the year 1446, included a group of photos and models that embody the heroism of the martyrs in defending the homeland, and tell the story of the struggle of the Yemeni people against aggression and siege, and the leaders of the resistance who were martyred on the road to Jerusalem in the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa.
The exhibition also included models of multiple generations of missiles, drones, submarines and other fields related to military manufacturing.
In a speech during the opening of the exhibition, the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofri, stressed that the exhibition embodies the values of loyalty and gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland. It aims to raise awareness of the importance of martyrdom and sacrifice and to remember the martyrs' exploits and immortal heroism.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Hanash, indicated that the martyrs are the safety valve of the homeland, and that their sacrifices will remain immortal in the minds and hearts of Yemenis. He added that the opening of the exhibition comes as an affirmation of loyalty to the martyrs and an appreciation for their sacrifices.
The exhibition will continue for three days and will be open to university members daily during the specified period.
