This morning, Thursday, the Emirates University organized a visit for the academic and administrative staff to the shrine and exhibition of the martyred President Saleh Al-Samad, in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, and a number of deans of colleges, heads of departments, and the university's academic and administrative staff.
The visit, which comes within the framework of the activities organized by the university to commemorate the annual anniversary of the martyr for the year 1446 AH, aimed to remember the martyrs and their exploits, and their great position in society, and to recite Al-Fatihah in the cemetery of the martyrs and the shrine of the martyred President Saleh Al-Samad, and to lay wreaths of flowers as an expression of loyalty to the martyrs.
The university president, the secretary general and the university staff also inspected the Martyr Al-Samad Exhibition, which immortalizes through pictures the exploits, heroism and jihad of the martyred president and his role in building the state, protecting the homeland and defending its security, sovereignty and independence.
During the visit, the university president and the secretary general expressed their pride and appreciation for the martyrs, stressing that Yemen will remain dear and impregnable thanks to the sacrifices of its honorable sons.
