The Emirates International University organizes a solidarity stand with Palestine and condemns the aggression on Lebanon and the assassination of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah

The Emirates International University organized this morning, Wednesday, 29 Rabi` al-Awwal 1446, corresponding to October 2, 2024 AD, a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, and condemns the brutal aggression on southern Lebanon and the sinful assassination of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Mujahid Hassan Nasrallah.
In the stand, which was titled "Yemen of Faith in Jihad and Steadfastness with Gaza and Lebanon", and was attended by the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, a number of academic and administrative leaders of the university, and a large gathering of university members, students and employees, the participants chanted slogans supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance and condemning Western support for the occupying entity in committing more crimes of genocide against the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
The statement issued by the solidarity stand announced full solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people in confronting the criminal Zionist enemy, and affirmed the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance in one trench to confront the Zionist aggression.
The statement considered the barbaric Zionist aggression that targeted residential buildings in Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which claimed the lives of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, a number of his comrades, and hundreds of martyrs and wounded civilians, a cowardly terrorist act, a massacre, and a heinous crime that confirms the bloodiness and brutality of the occupation and that it is a rogue entity that has begun to threaten international security and peace.
The statement mourned to the Arab and Islamic nation the martyr His Eminence Nasrallah and his comrades who were killed on the road to Jerusalem and on the same approach supporting and backing the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, and called for the necessity of responding firmly, and making the Zionist entity regret its crimes.
The statement expressed the confidence of the Yemeni people and the free people of the nation in the Lebanese resistance to follow the same approach that the martyr and his companions had set and their ability to record a new victory for the nation and inflict a crushing defeat on the Israeli enemy.
The statement renewed its condemnation of the continuation of the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip and the use of starvation of civilians as a method of war to dissuade the Palestinian people from resisting the criminal Zionist occupier.
The statement blessed the broad Iranian response operation against the Zionist entity, which achieved its goals in destroying the security and military structure of the entity.
The statement stressed the need for the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation to move for the sake of God to support our oppressed brothers in Palestine and Lebanon and liberate the Islamic sanctities from the Zionists, most notably the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
