 Within the framework of the Emirates International University’s keenness to develop the capabilities of its students and graduates, hone their skills, and place them in the labor market with complete efficiency and ability, the university’s Training and Qualification Center launched today, Saturday, the practical training program for students of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity departments, which includes the following courses: MCSA - VMware vSphere 7.0 - CCNA.

 

 At the inauguration of the program in the presence of the University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, the deans of the faculties of engineering, medicine, and administrative sciences, the Dean of Quality, a number of heads of scientific departments in various university colleges, and the coordinator of the training center, the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, stressed the importance of this program in enhancing students’ capabilities and meeting Labor market needs. He pointed out that the university strives to provide the best training programs for its students to ensure their excellence in various fields.

 

 The university president pointed out that the program was carefully designed to bridge the gap between university outcomes and labor market requirements so that graduates can acquire practical knowledge and skills, enhance their abilities, and complement the skills and knowledge they acquired during their studies. It is considered a final push that enables the student to integrate into the labor market immediately after graduation. He pointed out that the university is always keen to provide the best educational and training programs for its students, in line with international standards.

 

 The program, presented by Engineer Mohamed Al-Hamati, aims to introduce students to the latest technologies and tools related to their specializations, and to provide them with the necessary skills to deal with the various challenges they face in work environments. The program also aims to enhance the spirit of teamwork among students and encourage them to innovate and create.

 

 Duration of the training program: 110 training hours. Includes: CCNA course: aims to teach students the basics of computer networks, including routing, switching, and local area networks.

 

 MCSA course: It aims to deal with servers and their various services, from server infrastructure services to security and protection of systems and networks.

 

 VMware vSphere 7.0 Course: Aims to teach students how to manage virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere 7.0.

 

 It is worth noting that the program comes within a series of courses and training programs that will include all university specializations, and the center will announce them successively during the coming period.
