An introductory workshop for students of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences about the Yemen Internet platform in cooperation with Al-Khair Development Foundation

 In implementation of the cooperation and partnership agreement signed between the Emirates International University and the Al Khair Development Foundation, the charitable arm of the International Group of Companies, a workshop was carried out this Sunday morning for fourth-level students at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, in the presence of the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, and the Dean of the College of Medicine. And health sciences, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kahali, Executive Director of Al-Khair Foundation, Engineer Sadiq Al-Jamai, Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqqaf, Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, Head of the International Business Administration Department, and Ms. Ibtisam Al-Mujmar, Director of Academic Affairs.

 

 The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the Yemen Internet platform, explain the registration mechanism for it, and how to benefit from it to obtain training opportunities in various fields.

 

 The workshop opened with a speech delivered by Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, President of the University, in which he welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of training in developing the skills of male and female students, enhancing their chances of obtaining jobs after graduation, and the university’s keenness to partner with various relevant authorities in order to provide training opportunities for students to gain skills. And the experiences necessary for success in the labor market.

 

 The Executive Director of the Al-Khair Foundation, Engineer Sadiq Al-Jamai, confirmed that the platform aims to provide training opportunities for students, by linking them with various business institutions and companies to obtain practical training, through the vocational apprenticeship program.

 

 The workshop explained the platform’s objectives and services, which include: providing training opportunities for students and graduates in various fields, which contributes to building their skills, developing their capabilities, and gaining practical experience.

 

 It is noteworthy that the Yemen Internet training platform is an electronic platform, founded in 2004 AD, with the aim of providing training opportunities for male and female students in various fields. The platform cooperates with many local and international institutions, companies and organizations to provide training opportunities.

 

 The workshop participants expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the university and the Al-Khair Development Foundation to provide practical training opportunities for students and graduates in entities related to the labor market.
