Opening of the first student scientific exhibition for students of the College of Dentistry at the UAE University

 Today, Wednesday morning, the Emirates International University witnessed the opening of the first student scientific exhibition for students of the College of Dentistry, which will last for two days, in the presence of the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Fouad Hanash, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, and the heads of scientific departments in the College and other colleges. 

 During the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Secretary-General of the University, praised the outstanding level of the projects presented, which reflects the advanced scientific level of the students, stressing the importance of this event in enhancing the students’ creative skills and encouraging artistic talents among them. We appreciate the role of the College of Dentistry in organizing this exhibition. 

 For his part, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, pointed out that the exhibition contributes to spreading awareness about the field of dentistry, and informing the public of its importance and its role in maintaining oral and dental health. 

 The Secretary General of the University, the Dean of the College, and the heads of the scientific departments toured around the exhibition and listened to an explanation from the students about the various handicrafts and models that express scientific aspects in the field of dentistry. 

 The works participating in the exhibition varied and included accurate anatomical models of the parts of the mouth and teeth, in addition to works of art and sculptures that express the students’ passion for the field of dentistry, and illustrative drawings that facilitate understanding of medical operations. The exhibition also included artistic paintings depicting the stages of tooth development. 

 The exhibition enjoyed active participation by fifth-level students of the College of Dentistry, who demonstrated outstanding skills and creativity in their work. The exhibition also witnessed a large turnout of visitors from various university specializations, and the exhibition also witnessed student visits from a number of secondary and middle schools, which reflects the great interest in this distinguished scientific exhibition.
