A joint statement by Yemeni universities in solidarity with the revolution of American university students supporting Gaza

 Yemeni private universities expressed their support for the revolution of American universities in solidarity with Gaza, considering this step a reflection of an awakening of conscience that triumphs over American Zionist hegemony.

 The statement issued by the “University of Science and Technology and its branches, the Yemeni University, Azal University for Human Development, Tontech International University of Technology, the Emirati University, the Yemeni Jordanian University, and Al-Nasser University” condemned the oppression and persecution that American university students are subjected to during their peaceful sit-ins in solidarity with Gaza. Rejecting support for the Zionist entity, he stressed his support for their right to express their opinions and feelings freely.

 The statement stressed that the Yemeni private universities stand by our Palestinian people in their steadfastness and resistance to the brutal Zionist occupation, by all possible means, denouncing the continuation of the brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, a war crime that cannot be tolerated.

 He called on the international community to put an end to these heinous crimes, and to take decisive measures to stop the Israeli aggression and save the Palestinian people from their suffering, calling on our great Yemeni people for national cohesion and unity, and to stand united in the face of the Zionist aggression.

 The Yemeni private universities called on all free people in the world to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and support their just cause, praising the liberation movement in a number of African countries against American and European hegemony, most notably Niger and a number of its neighboring countries.

 The statement announced the launch of a broad mobilization campaign and activities in support of the Palestinian cause, including cultural, sporting and artistic events, seminars and lectures, as an expression of our solidarity with the Palestinian people and rejection of the Israeli occupation.
