Opening of the scientific projects exhibition for third-level mechatronics and medical equipment engineering students

 The Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, along with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department, Dr. Radwan Al-Budhaji, and the Head of the Medical Equipment Engineering Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Alfi, Dr. Farouk Al-Fahidi, and Dr. Malik Al-Jabri, opened today, Thursday, the exhibition of scientific projects in the Embedded Systems courses. Interfaces, forces and machines, and mechatronics systems design, for third-level students, in the departments of mechatronics engineering and medical equipment engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology.

 The exhibition aimed to showcase students’ creativity in various fields of mechatronics and medical equipment engineering, and to provide them with the opportunity to present their ideas and designs to their professors, fellow students, and the public.

 During the opening of the exhibition, the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, expressed his happiness at the opening of this exhibition, which is the result of the efforts of the students and their professors. He stressed the importance of these projects in developing students’ skills and creativity, and enhancing linking education with the practical needs of the labor market.

 The scientific projects participating in the exhibition, which amounted to more than 25 projects, varied between robotics, automatic control, smart manufacturing, medical devices, artificial intelligence, and smart homes.

 The attendees walked around the exhibition, where they viewed the various projects and listened to an explanation from the students about their ideas and designs. The exhibition attracted the attention of visitors, who expressed their admiration for the scientific projects presented by the students.

 The students expressed their happiness at the opening of the scientific projects exhibition, stressing that these exhibitions contribute to motivating them to creativity and innovation, and developing the spirit of competition among them.
